This drama tells the story of David, an unappreciative and controlling husband who belittles his wife, Sonia, criticizing her appearance and refusing to provide adequate money for her to dress well (0:23–1:45). After David insults Sonia's mother during an argument, Sonia slaps him and decides to leave the house, defying his commands to stay (6:30–8:30).
While Sonia is gone, David experiences the difficulties of living alone and is challenged by a friend to recognize his toxic behavior and apologize (10:50–13:00). David eventually visits Sonia, admits he was wrong, and promises to change (14:15–15:45). Sonia initially refuses to return, stating she will not go back to a place where she lost her voice, but David eventually convinces her to try again by promising respect and kindness
