  1. My beautiful and amazing besties. I’m so glad you get to see this deeply thoughtful and oh so beautiful movie. LOCKED IN will touch you in places you didn’t anticipate. Please like, comment and please support us by sharing before you even watch. I love and pray for you always ❤💝🥰🎉

  2. I’m crying because I could relate with this so much, it’s sad many parents do not realized how much their words and actions affects their children even into adulthood. It is easier to call the children disrespectful than analyze themselves of where they missed it.

Verbal abuse is so generalized in the African home, it breaks the self esteem of many and sadly it takes years to heal, some never heal. I wish many parents will sincerely apologize to their children but sadly that may never happen.

  3. Omoni your movies are the best. I cried watching this movie. I grew up being abused by my mother. Sometimes to the extent that I was choked until I passed out. Hit in the head until I passed out. This movie brought back so many memories. Not to mention being molested by a wicked stepfather. I didn’t get an apology from my mother. I have two grown children and I have never abused them. The abuse stopped with me. I pray that all the children that have been abused will become strong men and women and we can learn to forgive and let go of the anger.

  4. Thank you so much Ma, and to all the actors who worked so hard and wisely for the success of this movie. I’ve always been a fan of your work, though I’m usually a 'silent lover' who appreciates your films without leaving comments.

However, this particular movie made me realize how much I love and miss my father. It reminded me of how supportive he always was. Even when I didn't take first rank in school, I felt his constant love. He had anger issues, but he never poured them on me when I failed. That is exactly why I never gave up; I kept pushing to make him and my mother proud, as well as myself.

Even though he didn't live long enough to reap the fruits of his labor or taste from my first salary, I will keep moving. I believe that everything will work out for my good as long as I don't give up. My father passed away just a year ago, just when I started working officially. For the first time, he asked me to buy him a new phone and we had agreed on it, but he left this world two months before I could even return to the country💔.

My message to those who still have their parents: make them proud, and make yourself proud too. Don't do it because of pressure, but because all that love and support should not be in vain. You were not born to be a failure. Never accept failure. God loves you, and with Him, you will always be the head and not the tail.

Sending love🖤 from the Republic of Congo to y’all, and to my lovely Nigerian people, my second family:
