The movie is a must watch. I loved the way it flowed. But I wish it was a happy ending. Eddy should have stayed. Yemi still loved her and was ready to forgive her. He was ready to give her a second chance. I love it when spouses can be forgiving.

Everyone keeps saying Eddy was very manipulative but I think the manipulation was just a skill she developed as a coping mechanism to Yemi's emotional abuse( he was also very good at that one), yes she was wrong for slapping him and throwing things at him but it's probably due to pent up frustration from tolerating the same hurtful things.
For Yemi, one of the problem was his negative mental conditioning from his Dad, that a man isn't supposed to show any signs of weakness and always be strong, maybe that's why he couldn't express himself well without sounding condescending and abusive.
They both tolerated things they didn't like from eachother for too long without communicating properly ( which they later did at the end), if they had addressed it from the early days, it wouldn't have gone this far.
If they were willing to work on the theirselves and let go of the past (which may be difficult), the marriage will most likely work, because to me, they still love eachother.
Effective Communication is very important in any form of relationships, not only even marriage. Because even as friends you can resent one another for something that communication would have solved.
