There’s an important point I think hasn’t been mentioned. In this situation, responsibility also lies with the wife, because she fell asleep while cooking, which led to the smoke in the house that sadly affected their son. We also have to remember that it’s not a crime for a man to work hard to provide for his family. If that same man had no job, there would likely be tension and unhappiness in the home. So it’s important to look at the situation fairly—he was out trying to support his family, not neglecting them.
Mr akere is not at fault, because he is trying to be a good father and either he is there or not when akorede is sick that doesn't stop akorede to die because that was akorede destiny, and we all know situation of our country, if Mr akere was the owner of the company I know he will not abondon akorede till he die

The movie is really interesting. I just wish we can stick to speaking just Yoruba in our Yoruba movies.
I believe he would has actually won the case and kept his daughter if only he had waited and had also told the court about the part where she had an option to move to Kano for her kids sake (since she’s always shouting that her husband did not come home and blaming him for the kids death) but she did not due to her selfishness and entitlement
She was always complaining about the job meanwhile it’s this same job that sent her to school and gave her the job in uk, that fed both her and the kids we are talking about this same job that she took for granted
and matter of fact her husband had to tell her to take the kid to the hospital before she could, otherwise the boy would have died at home
Not saying that the husband is innocent and sinless but the mother as the jobless person that was sacked multiple times for lack of knowledge if she really cared about her kids like she said she did she should have moved to Kano for their sake at least
So instead of blaming the husband for not coming to visit especially on the boys sickbed why not blame your self also for not moving there and separating the kids from their father for your own selfish needs.
Like all this could have been solved by moving to Kano because it’s not like the kids have any medical reasons to not move and after all she is always saying that she misses her husband and that the kids does also and it’s not like the only family member (that we know of) she likes them anyways
So like her husband that moved to Kano for work on behalf of the family and sacrificed his personal life, friends & relative for the sake of the kids & wife’s feeding & school, she should have done the same also and moved.
After all marriage is all about sacrifices on both sides if not on the same topic then another (someone & or both always sacrifices).
This is the best movie I have ever watched in months. This movie supposed to be seen by every family.

Sincerely the man has no fault, the woman refuses to understand. What if hes abroad wont she take care of the house and children? Its obvious the man still loves her. God help us but this movie is 1000 minus nothing.

Cause he want the best for his family; not no in his wife is not thinking the same way with him, because I don't no y she's blaming her husband for the death of there son
At least you no the nature of your husband job he can't go home without taking permission from his boss
So this should not suppose cause divorce between both of you at all
And mostly mum Akorede is craving for sex , and her husband was not Available
i think this is what triggers her action of divorcing her husband so that she can find a rightful man
Please this should be a great lesson to all marriage out there let understand our partner graciously
