This movie makes me hurt badly.my mum and her sister are exactly like this and today is actually my cousin’s birthday she has been on my mind. My mum is the last born her immediate elder doesn’t like her. Even though we are all abroad doing well we have tried reaching out to my mums elder sister in Kaduna for peace to reign to no avail. One time I told my mum to call her and apologize so she does not go to hell, my mum did this woman did not let go. As a matter of fact she cut the call on my mum. My mum has told her several times if there is something I did that I do not know about pls forgive me. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore cos it has affected myself and my cousins relationship they dragged us into there nonsense as kids. Watching this movie made me realize it’s the fault of their dead parents. Cos you know in parenting you learn from your parents thinking what they did is right. My mum tries to exhibit that character with my kids but,I call her out on it immediately. I don’t really like my kids going over to stay with her cos she shows favoritism to the younger one more than the older one. Which she kinda did to myself and my brother. I am the oldest. But we broke the cycle and pattern. And thank God for Jesus I would have hated my younger brother too.
One thing we need to learn as parents is every child is different. Understanding each ones personality is impt. But then again parenting has no manual. We learn on the go. Love, patience and forgiveness ❤
The tears I just cried watching this all the way from South Africa. So many lessons learnt here.
I feel like a lot of parents need to understand and take this lesson and stop taking one aggression from one child or siblings and inflating into the rest of the other siblings because tht do matter a lot on how the child see and can make the child resonate with the other siblings as well as the parent
