Deep inside the forest, a humble woodcutter discovers a mysterious mortar hidden within an ancient tree. Inside it is freshly prepared food, sweet and inviting. Hungry and unaware, he eats it never knowing it belongs to Arewa Igi, the sacred maiden-spirit who guards the tree. Now the calm forest turns strange, and the woodcutter’s life hangs in the balance as Arewa Igi awakens in anger.
