Give Mandy credit for one thing: she tried to keep Fega out of it. If Kelechi had known the whole truth things may have been different. In most cases Mandy’s deals would have been: a trap, recruit or fail, pay to play situation but not totally this time. This was about warning, choice, and whether you’ve got the guts to gamble on a game where you don’t know the rules.
Clearly Kelechi was a victim of not realizing the full weight of the consequences and lack of foresight of her decision. She was the biggest example of misery loves company meaning if my life is over and in shambles why should I care about anyones else’s. If I’m unable to do what most women ultimately want most on earth then why should anybody else be able to. Her life falling apart made her resent anyone else’s future happiness. I did not expect this outcome. Never saw it coming. Like I said Onyii is one amazing producer and creative story teller.
What happened to Kelechi was beyond tragic not knowing the full details of what she had gotten her self into until it was revealed but she really sold herself and said she was willing to do whatever she had to w/o full disclosure so in reality be careful what you ask and wish for. My biggest problem with Kelechi is she was willing to take someone else down with her which was plain dirty so you reap what you sow. Money is useful but never a complete peace of mind. Unfortunately Kelechi knows this first hand now.
Ultimately Fast Money Girls was about being warned to a certain extinct but more importantly having ur own free will at the end of the day and being able to decipher and discern am I willing to take risks for things I know nothing about.
Fega never realized what was going on until it was too late or she would have thanked Mandy. I wonder if burning the money made any difference in changing anything permanent that may have happened to Fega. 🙆♀🤷♀
