The woman actually overdid her role. I was beginning to get so pissed with the way she was going on and on about taking Marvel away from her aunt just like that!
I believe Ini would never have objected if she had told her she needed to have her granddaughter with her, but making her feel worthless and unappreciated was crazy 😒
On the other hand, a mother finding out with a picture evidence that her child who was separated from her since birth was no more and that he even had a child, one would expect she would go wild with emotion, but she just casually narrated the story to her son.
Then when she eventually met with her granddaughter and getting to where she lived, she was busy acting all snotty and complaining about the environment without considering how her late son and grandchild must've fared living in poverty.

I feel like the end part of this movie could have been better. The child wasn't made to understand what she did wrong and be genuinely sorry for it, and it would have been a lot better as well if we had been told how the issue was resolved instead of just showing to us that it had been resolved. The grandma too wasn't even genuinely sorry about the whole thing, she was just happy that they had succumbed to her will and the girl still went an extra mile to donate is it bone marrow now to her son so he no longer has to die. I have enjoyed some other movies on this channel, but this? Not really a good one for me.. at least, not the end.
