From the beginning of this movie mum carrier has bad energy, and greedy. She's a woman who always love to take advantage of Ara,if not with all what Ara has done in her life she has no reason to be angry if Ara repsent her on carrier's graduation.
She doesn't want Ara to repsent her on graduation day but Ara can repsent her when it comes to funds, responsibility.
Ara even sold her land to sponsor carrier's education, carrier 's mummy is very manipulative .
Me I will always value who train me than who just born me wey no fit give me any training
