  1. A Fight For Love is a very interesting movie that really made me reflect on a few things. It shows how tradition, culture, and wealth are deeply tied into so much of our lives. It’s crazy how status in many families still controls relationships β€” that’s really sad. It truly takes boldness to walk away from wealth for love, trusting and believing that God will make a way financially. I know this reality exists in some countries, but I can’t imagine being forced to marry someone I don’t love because of status and money. I’m glad the ending allowed love to lead β€” even through the struggle β€” and gave us a happy ending. The heart knows what it wants, even when money can’t buy it. Thank you, Queen, for adding captions! It really helps global fans follow the movie more smoothly. Great cast β€” I’m looking forward to what’s next on SUTV! Much love, support, and prayers from Columbia, South Carolina! πŸ’―β€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

  2. Jide was an humble guy that was very giving and non assuming. He had a generosity of spirit which is very valuable and gave more than he was willing to take but he also had a sense of pride that I can appreciate. I admire the way he stood up for himself and didn’t allow Martins to put him down, bribe or insult him bc of his current financial status. Jide standing up for himself was so real and inbred which was why it was easy for him to also stand up for others.

Not having money shouldn’t solely determine whether your good enough for someone but emotional presence, confidence, the ability to express your feelings, assuredness, hard-work, humility, patience, diligence, not expecting or looking for handouts, actively but respectfully standing up for yourself by and not accepting put downs, refusing to back down, keeping your dignity intact, and the ability to make someone happy should garner respect and determine your fitness to be romantically involved with someone.

I respected and understood to a point that Martins wanted the best for Nancy but not respecting Jide that he said he owed for coming to his rescue, saving his life, and teaching him to stand up for himself when they were younger was wrong and very unfair. Martins was so carried away with money and financial security for his sister he failed to see that Williams was not compatible or right for Nancy.

Being a "made man implying a status of success, financial stability, and established security does not guarantee a successful or fulfilling romantic relationship. While status can provide security, it cannot force genuine love or compatibility. The true value lies in the substance of character, emotional intelligence, and a shared life plan.

Williams was a big red flag. It was no telling what kind of life Nancy would have signed up for continuing to be involved with Williams. Nancy was a privileged and well brought up girl with a mind of her own and appeared to know what she wanted so I’m glad she was direct with Williams about them being incompatible due to his chauvinistic tendencies early own.

Jidenna was a straightforward guy that had a plan and deserved better. If Martins had initially taken the time to listen he would have known. I’m glad that Nancy eventually figured out what was right for her and that Martins ultimately realized the value of his baby sister's happiness. Although he never acknowledged it I liked the look on his face when he really noticed it. "A Fight For Love" is a phenomenol presentation packed with lessons and carries a message that money is very important but not everything compared to love ❀❀❀❀

  3. The best feeling in the world is being able to say you did something for yourself without the help of anyone else, in life you have to remember the people who have done good things for you in the past that you couldn't do for yourself You've got three choises in life. Give up, give in, or give it your all.
