  1. In most stories like this, the woman has to teach the husband by breaking up the marriage. I agree, he was wrong, but I believe counseling is a good option to keep the family together and help couples to be respectful of each other

  2. The problem was she married him to begin with. Divorce shouldn't be the only solution, but discernment was needed before marrying him.

Also, I don't know if counseling would have helped. He seemed to have a personality issue. Even if he believed what he was saying, that was the arrangement that they had. If he wanted to change that, he should have said he needs her to contribute financially. Then they could come to a conclusion that works for everyone. He was mean for no reason.

Emotionally intelligent people say what they want and look for solutions without insulting the person they love completely unprovoked. Her leaving looks like the best solution because he looks like a liability who thinks way too highly of himself.

  3. Do you really think that a woman’s strength comes from divorce, not because it shows all her weakness and selfishness? Divorce has become the solution to everything: The husband committed adultery, we divorce. And the worst part is that you only think of yourself, not of the children, but of yourselves. You speak of your dignity and your peace. But I repeat, women who want peace must not marry. In marriage, there must be respect sometimes; it requires that we teach the other person. Marriage is forgiveness, not just forgiveness. But the one who comes after having clearly made the other person understand his mistake. Sometimes, all it takes is a good lesson to be understood. And something else, even if your husband and you had agreed that you wouldn’t work, which for me because of the children is a good thing ,because nannies are there worse for children and a mother is better placed for her children, but taking care of the children and the household has never stopped us from having small things; everything depends on the will.
