You know the story God bless you
Have you ever imagined if the migration of the Jews in and out of Egypt was not recorded, maybe by today some Jews or probably some Egyptian would be laying claims that the Jews are their descendants. The story of the Jews and Egypt is a scientific evidence that a people can migrate from a place or from a people different from themselves but not of the same. The same way the Jews left Egypt with their Jewish values, names, culture, religion and traditions that’s the same way the Igbo’s that lived in Idu land left Idu with everything that made them IGBO
We have Umu-Ife in a Town called Urum in Awka north Anambra state I wonder if they are part of the Igbo’s that lived in Ife

Today I applied you for the explain
I listen to your program a lot, because you deal with historical facts. I did the history of west Africa, a course in my secondary school days. Your explanation of the 5 Igbo titles is very enlightening. "Igodo" is igbo word. My town in Anambra state refers to 'key' (door opener) as igodo and I think it might be the same for other towns.

Ngozi, whatever you say about your people is fine and up to you but when your fascination with Benin drives you so much that it leads you to attempt to state that IDU, our ancestral, cultural and spiritual homeland is igboland.. or that Ogiso was a council of blah blah you lie! A massive LIE! We Bini people know who we are, I have said this many times, down to our spiritual peculiar family greetings of the 84 original families descendants of Idu. A custome we have preserved for almost 1000 years. The narrative that Oromiyans supposed “conquest” which wasn’t a conquest, drove Igbos away is up to your narrative. Not sure how many Igbos left then but many Obas later in Ubini we still had Igbos living there. We’ve never dominated people by enforcing our language or stating that their language is a dialect of ours or on anyone living within our borders. When people tell you a word in their language, Igbo will always say that it is a short form of ( proceed to give a phonetically similar sounding longer word in Igbo) and tell you it is an Igbo word 🙄😃 oh boy why now? People no fit get their own language again? Anyway, people from a monarchical tribe do not bother arguing and defending their position as monarchy. When you argue so much about these matters, it becomes rather suspect. None really recognizes Igbo kings, I’m sorry but it’s the truth. The most noticeable ones are the ones in close proximity to GREAT Benin. I don’t know what that should tell you. Nonetheless, you were right about Iyase title and its origins.
