Beautiful story. You took us on a journey. Well done. Ola did the right thing. So many women have made themselves small because of the insecurity of their husbands. My husband met me as a ssuccessful career woman. I told him from onset that I would never quit my job… not even to raise children. Told him I would balance things. And I did. When his business was hit by unfortunate incidents, it was this job that carried us until he was able to rebuild. Guess what , a syndrome made it impossible for me to keep working 10 years into the marriage. After 2 children who are teenagers now. He stayed by me too. He was Always reminding me of how I carried the family a while back too. He is always glad that he didn’t listen to the people who told him that I was too career driven. I am so proud of women like Ola who remain true to themselves. Thank you for this story.

I once quit my job because of my husband he couldn’t stand it. I was making more money than he was and guess what? He didn’t pay for anything in those 5 years I was at home I had to borrow of school fees house rent I had 2 pregnancy in 2 years I was lost no one to talk to
I was depressed, imagine I was at home since 2020 before Covid and I started working again since September 2025 he tired again I told him I will report him if he tries it again now he is not currently working just to punish me but I don’t care
