  1. That’s the jealous wicked husband fault because he went into this marriage with his 👀 eyes wide open he was ok 👍🏾 with it when they was dating he was bragging to his friends about he have a Lawyer girlfriend he should had said something that he didn’t want no career women and she do be cooking cleaning still taking care of the house

  2. Cooking and cleaning are adult responsibilities not wife duties. This is what ppl don't understand. If men need 2 be taken care of hire a 2nd mother. Marriage isn't beneficial to women its a trap.

  3. Beautiful story. You took us on a journey. Well done. Ola did the right thing. So many women have made themselves small because of the insecurity of their husbands. My husband met me as a ssuccessful career woman. I told him from onset that I would never quit my job… not even to raise children. Told him I would balance things. And I did. When his business was hit by unfortunate incidents, it was this job that carried us until he was able to rebuild. Guess what , a syndrome made it impossible for me to keep working 10 years into the marriage. After 2 children who are teenagers now. He stayed by me too. He was Always reminding me of how I carried the family a while back too. He is always glad that he didn’t listen to the people who told him that I was too career driven. I am so proud of women like Ola who remain true to themselves. Thank you for this story.

  4. I would have never resigned!!…. I will only resign if I don't feel comfortable at that particular office. Thanks for the PT 2 💪👌🏽😍💃

  5. Ola should have left this jealous loser from the time he gave her the first ultimatum. His insecurities are wild. A spouse should never be in competition with the other.

I'm glad that Ola did not resign but took time off to evaluate things.

A person should never shrink who they are to please another.

When one rises in a marriage, all rise!!!

  6. Her husband was delusional and filled with insecurities. Someone who truly loves you will never expect you to give up your goals, dreams, or ambitions. They will encourage you, not hold you back.

  7. Somma, you're one of my favorite storytellers. Ola did the right thing. Law school is no joke and a lot of years of studying. How can anyone go that far and resign to be a housewife when she was already juggling both effortlessly. I'm glad she chose her career. Thanks for a beautiful ending cuz my blood pressure would have gone up if she resigned.

  8. I once quit my job because of my husband he couldn’t stand it. I was making more money than he was and guess what? He didn’t pay for anything in those 5 years I was at home I had to borrow of school fees house rent I had 2 pregnancy in 2 years I was lost no one to talk to
I was depressed, imagine I was at home since 2020 before Covid and I started working again since September 2025 he tired again I told him I will report him if he tries it again now he is not currently working just to punish me but I don’t care

  9. Hi Somma, I've been listening to your stories for a while and you are simply fantastic. I think it would help to grow your channel if you post reels on Facebook and ticktok.
In my opinion you are in the top 5 African stories channels on YouTube. Love from Jamaica 🇯🇲
