If I was the husband I would've divorced her a long time ago and fought for custody of my daughter. As patient and understanding as he was the wife was so toxic and mean. I wouldn't let her continue to bring me down and I definitely wouldn't allow her contious screams and rants to keep scaring our child
I find this mother to be weak. The constant crying and yelling is ridiculous

Speaking as someone who has this disorder, this movie does not make sense. The mother cracked under the pressure. However, the pain crisis are not as frequent as this show present. As a child I lived a happy and carefree life marred at times by painful crisisβs. Never ever did my parents argue about me. My mother blamed herself for years. As an adult the moment I realized she did I had a frank and heartfelt talk with her. She needed to know how much I thank her for my life always – even in the painful crisis.
I grew up without treatment because they did not know what was wrong with me as a child. We discovered as an adult that I have this disorder. Normal for someone with SC is not the same as for a healthy person, however, SC has never made my life any less than another person. I have lived a full and wonderful life despite SC.
It seems this mother is depressed. My word she can cry!!! Lord, thank you she was not my mother. She is annoying.
What the mother needed to do was get over herself and make every day a happy day for her daughter. Sc could indeed take her daughter life, but so could cancer, kidney failure, an accident, etc. Man and woman alike, heathy or not should live like each is the last day we have because it could be.
I am glad these movies are talking about SC. Just stop making it look like our life is pathetic. IT IS NOT!!!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
All true this movie we have to watch a grown woman cry and cry she is the one should have more patience .. But the husband have two sick people to take care of .. Blessings Maurice

Well, Mr. Sam, you chose the right, actress to play your wife. Give her the award; for Best Crier. That is not easy to do for the entire movie. Her job was to portray the mother in that way and she most definitely did. That is the reason; she is getting so much negative comments. The mother gave us the performance she was hired to do. Take your flowers because you are a great actress, mom. Fabulous cast, song, and crew. Bravo!!!!!
