This is my opinion. Ani Igbo is suffering bc of the following reasons:
-Colonial policy
-Igbo elite collaboration
These are easy problems to solve.
Now, this is the way forward. We, the people must STOP complaining and START acting. There's no savior out there to do things for us. We're OUR Saviors. If our people are waiting for someone to come and save them from colonial IMPERIALISTS and political elites impunity instead of rising to stop them, we blame ourselves. These people holding us are less that 50 in number and we're like 60 million population. Why will only 50 people hold 60 million people to ransom if not that we're cowards? This is why govt and politicians promote religion of God and Jesus to keep people divided and distracted. However, Christians should not be our concern. We need few determined Igbos who overstand the game these colonizers are playing on us. We need to organize, strategize and execute. We need to form a movement with outspoken women to lead who will be dispatched to meet with the govt, church leaders, traditional rulers, and market leaders with a simple message, we're tired of being ruled like slaves in our homeland. We're not telling them for them to do anything but we're informing them that we've waited enough for them to do the right thing but they're not. That we're taking matters into our hands. The govt will be told to warn it's security apparatus from interfering with the people work. People have power not govt. It's us that allow them to act with impunity.
After meeting with them, we form vigilante groups in every community of Igbo land and equip them to shot at sight any terrorists or idnappers.
Once people on the ground see progress, every Igbo will contribute towards this goal bc it's beneficial to ALL.
We're holding ourselves. No one is holding us. Once the people speak, those in power will listen. It happened in Kenya.
It happened in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso. Igbos were never cowards. Haven't we seen the political shift in the world now??? Don't we overstand the awakening??? Who are we waiting for???
