If Transylvania had a secret autumn paradise, this would be it — the Transapuseana Road 🍂

📺 Do yourself a favor — watch this on a big screen. You’ll feel every curve, every breeze, and every golden leaf falling on this magical mountain road.
💡 Tip: Turn on subtitles in your language (“CC”) for an even more immersive journey!

📌Location: Transapuseana Road, Apuseni Mountains, Romania
📆 Date recorded: October 20 ⛅Weather: 14°C/ 57°F — calm, perfect autumn day

This is one of the most beautiful mountain drives in Transylvania, dressed in its full autumn colors. The road winds through peaceful valleys, forests of gold and red, and remote mountain villages where time slows down.

🐄 Along the way, you’ll meet the true locals — herds of cows and sheep walking slowly on the road, adding to that pure, countryside calm that makes you smile without even knowing why.

⛰️ And then, hidden among the cliffs, there’s Râmeț Monastery — one of the most spectacular monasteries in Romania, especially when seen from above.

🎨 The combination of mountains, nature, and tradition makes this one of those rare places where you just stop… and listen. The wind, the bells, the silence — everything feels timeless.

  1. Driving through the Transapuseana feels like crossing into another world — one where time forgot to rush.
Here, people still live like in the old days — slow mornings, wood smoke in the air, and the sound of cowbells echoing through the valley.
Would you stop and stay a while… or keep driving through this world that still remembers how life used to be?

❤And a big THANK YOU for riding along with me today. Your support is what makes these journeys possible. Hope you’re having a beautiful day — you deserve it!

  2. Maravilloso! Precioso! Has despertado en mi mucha nostalgia….recuerdos de infancia…….hace muchos años q no vivo en Rumanía……. gracias!

  4. This road resembles a little bit about what all of Greece is like on mainland, but then more extreme, more wild, more diverse in Greece. Greece is 80% mountains and lies on 4 tectonic earthplates coming together in Greece. The European plate, the Asian plate, the African plate and a 4th plate crushed in between. This explains the extremely wild and complex geography of Greece. So. Now that I see this video, and the goal of this video explaining that some nations hide a lot of unknown territory, then it is my soul and love for Greece to say exactly that.
I usually go to Greece in like march, when its 80% mountains are snowcovered, and go to Epirus, Tzoumerka mountains, Pindus mountains, Mount Olympus, Lake Kerkini, Prespes lakes, Tymfi mountain, Aoos gorge, Vikos gorge, Meteora, Evrytania, Karpenisi – Proussos, Acheloos valley, and so so many other mounntainous regions across Greece, in a pure bliss of wonder, geology, mountains, diversity.

So yes. This video for me is what I experience in Greece. And when I will be in Romania, I will remember this route aswell

Nu are nimic in comun cu Ungaria.
