A man from Osun State, OBA OGBONI AYE FUNFUN has stirred reactions after boldly claiming he is a “wizard in real life.” The self-acclaimed powerful figure recently opened up about his appearance in the movie KOLEOSO, revealing why popular Nollywood actor IBRAHIM YEKINI (Itele) decided to feature him in the production, KOLEOSO PART 10. According to him, his deep knowledge of traditional spirituality and natural presence made him a perfect fit for the role. He maintained that his real-life persona aligns closely with the character portrayed in the film, adding that his involvement brought authenticity to the project.
He added that he is likely to feature in more upcoming series yet to come from Iteledion

    What is his relevance to contemporay nigerian life and struggles?

    I think Ogboni/osugbo was more among the ijebus until modern times that it spread to other parts of Yorubaland. However,Obas have been wearing crowns in these other parts of Yorubaland before the coming of ogboni.
    Also the earlier Ogboni was not accompanied with the funfair that we see today where every person is Oba…. Oba ….
    I think things are getting muddled.

  31. No doubt he has a calm approach and commanding ascendancy, but of course unless Olodumare implies a false deity, his claim that he has what Olodumare doesn't have is blasphemous and enough evidence to see the error in his belief and lenses.

    And what would it be that he has and Olodumare doesn't?

    If he has bad habits, which obviously Olodumare doesn't, then it mirrors his intellect; and if he says Olodumare doesn't imply a false deity, then he is equating himself with Olodumare or placing himself above Olodumare.

    Either way he answers will still point to his religious shenanigans and errors.

    Anyways, we are not here for movies, and may we not be ruined by them. A teacher of mine said, (as a Yoruba) if you want to have a good and upright belief system, stay away from Yoruba movies.

  37. This Baba is Oba Omogoriola Hassan he was the producer of Eni egbere before,if I didn't mistake he is one of itele master before. He is an actor before but all his film then always looks diabolical but not always.
