Odwirafo examines the origin of the jook (juke) joint rooted in Igbo Ancestral Religion preserved in the blood-circles of igbo people forced into anerica during the enslavement era. It is through adherence to their Ancestral Religious practices that they had the resilence to fight back, escape enslavment and librate themselves.
