As part of the lead-up to the Jamaica Book Festival, the Festival’s Africa Caribbean Literary Exchange (ACLE) (with the P.J. Patterson Institute for Africa-Caribbean Advocacy (INAFRICARA)) brings you a conversation between Joel Nomdarkham and Tunde Onakoya.

Tunde speaks on how reading shapes imagination and habits, and how chess can become a tool for focus, confidence, and direction, especially for young people. The discussion moves into mentorship, responsibility, and what meaningful impact looks like when you’re trying to expand what children believe is possible.

Featuring: Tunde Onakoya
Host: Joel Nomdarkham
