Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Ron Livingston and director/producer Jason Reitman stopped by Google LA to discuss their new film TULLY.

TULLY is out in theaters May 4, 2018

About TULLY
A new comedy from Academy Award®-nominated director Jason Reitman (“Up in the Air”) and Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (“Juno”). Marlo (Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron), a mother of three including a newborn, is gifted a night nanny by her brother (Mark Duplass). Hesitant to the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).

  1. yes that's how to describe the ending, it was UNEXPECTED; even though when you look back there was some coverage leading up to the ending of course….still an ENDING with a twist.

  2. I don't know what drew me to this movie, so I gave in and went to see it. I lost my mother last year and this movie unlocked so many memories that I was sitting there sobbing like a baby. The scene where she is rubbing her son with a brush…OMG…I had so many flashbacks of my mothers touch, combing my hair or washing my face. After the movie I had to sit there and gather myself, when I got up to leave there were only 3 men left in the theater of whom I guess were also gathering themselves. Thanks to the cast and crew for a job well done.

  3. Tully was one of the great movies out this year. I feel really sorry for this movie didn't do well on the box office. It seems like there's no room for small or middle budget movies these days…

  4. loved charlize theron. shes come so far thisyr when shes not doing family/kids movies. this film however~ the ending was truly out&so up there. mackenzie was awesome playing the night nanny tully. altho that plottwist really through me for a couple loops, lololol still tryna piece THAT altogether. overall W0W

  5. tell me im not the only one who sees a very strong gay vibe of mackanzie davis on screen??? like with whoever the cast she is paired with really…

  6. Char: I think you said it beautifully (at Mac) 🧡💙❤️ pure support friendship and mentor 👍

Both Mac n Char body postures are modest. Mac looks downward too. Soooo cuteeee

  7. Films have thresholds and steps in history in the development of movie intelligence. When one hits you there is no going back and you look for more and further steps in the next move, 21.10.
If you get one of them it's a proper movie fix and you are satisfied…

  8. Charlize lives so often at the top of the Green eyed mountain she is losing her internal spirit. Backed by a beautiful Green curtain her Green eyes make her the Queen of that mountain which is the true minority mountain as far as eye colour race goes with just two percent of people having Green eyes. Being Green eyed as well and a keen mountaineer myself I know just how cold that mountain can get as there is a similar one in Europe. Did not like to see how unsettled this woman is on the inside…The Green resting Y of the South African flag must truly have evolved for this Green Queen, fate…
