  1. Tip of the iceberg. NOTE: I'll be responding to all fair criticisms to this piece in a livestream. Thank you for making sure you hold me accountable when I misstep or miss opportunities to provide clarity.

I specifically brought up the genocide in Palestine when I was submitting questions, which is the reason I agreed to do this. Feel free to keep expressing opinions.

  2. Even if you decry the actions of Israel, the belief that Israel should exist is a tacit endorsement of Israel’s actions. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Especially when the cake is a deeply antisemitic and violent colonial project. Israel specifically values white Jews, their entire schtick is perfectly aligned with European and American white supremacy. Please have a conversation with non-Zionist Jews.

  3. Lets get real about Black and Jewish relations in the United States and abroad. Lets talk about how the east Asians have stores in Our Communities are what the Jewish store merchant was during the turn of the 20th Century. Let's talk about their involvement in the Transatlantic Slave Trade with the Lancado Jews, a sub-sect of Sephardim, were setting up Our Ancestors to be trafficked to the Americas with their Spanish associates. Let's talk about the racism in their own communities when it comes to Black People and what they say behind close doors.

  4. really interesting. glad you got this opportunity to share, Cam, & i look forward to the breakdown with your thoughts (which i'd think your viewers would also expect, but man some comments).

personally, wish we heard more forceful language against genocide in Palestine from both, but esp Dr Gates, as i've got a lot of respect for him. should be international courts & repercussions already, imo, & that includes all the financial backers/companies. but i didn't hear what others elude to (lack of specifics noted tho)… i did hear things clearly said that commenters seemed to miss or willfully ignore. individuals do not equal an entire nation, or it's govt …bet nobody here wants to take responsibility for boat bombings.

  5. I knew this was going to be intellectually dishonest before I even clicked. We don’t have to sit down with everyone. All collaborations aren’t good collaborations. Let’s not grift for the sake of growth. Cause we all knew how this was going to go.

  6. There is a concerted effort to connect Zionism to Black Americans struggling recently see that Super Bowl ad. However Zionism and Black Liberation has always been at odds the Jews who did work with us did not Rick with Zionism for the most part and understood the threat Zionism poses to Jewish identity as a whole. Also go check those files to see just what Zionist think of Black people they hate us and literally only wish to leverage our moral standing to wash their actions away.

  7. I imagine most every type of conversation can be had, but be careful as far as agendas go. Notice how there was a desire for a Black and Jewish America piece, yet no one seems to need a Hispanic and Jewish, Asian and Jewish, White people and Jewish people piece? Why us? And this goes to so many different conversations whether it be Palestine, ICE, or any number of other discussions. “Where are black people”, seems to always be on everyone’s mind. Why is it so important that we be brought into every conversation in ways other demographics aren’t? Why is the most hated group the group people always need to get validation from? A validation that once it’s given, if it’s given, won’t be given in return in any meaningful policy specific way? Not expecting an answer, but it’s just a thought.

  8. To be human is to confess the capacity to mess up and to be imperfect. Ol dude was right when saying every human has a bias too, of course.
There was some value here, despite its flaws. Keep going, Cam.

  9. White ppl love the “white privilege isnt distributed equally😢” to justify alliances alongside certain groups of white ppl when they did all their might to identify as white and accepted as such. This includes white jews, irish, germans, italians, russians, etc. Their identities are built on antiblackness.

  10. You asking why we never learn about the jewish community’s role during the civil rights movement reminds me of how I’ve been asking why we’re never shown on the news the 100s of thousands of Israelis protesting/resisting against their own government. Also why we never get taught about the Jewish resistant groups in the 1940s. But sadly it all goes back to the elite/ultra wealthy controlling the narrative.
